This whiskey is a cask strength, non-chill filtered Irish whiskey. It is bottled at a proof of 127.6, which is higher than the standard 80 proof. This whiskey is made from a blend of malted and unmalted barley, which is triple distilled in copper pot stills. The whiskey is then aged in ex-bourbon and sherry casks for a minimum of three years. The whiskey is then bottled without chill-filtration, which allows for a fuller flavor and a higher proof. This whiskey is best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to open up the flavors.
