A Sir Peter Blake collage wraps The Macallan An Estate, A Community and A Distillery, a limited-edition Highland single malt Scotch from the Anecdotes of Ages Collection. Blake — the British pop artist behind some of the most recognizable album art of the twentieth century — built the label from imagery of the Speyside estate, marking his third collaboration with the distillery across nearly four decades. The whisky underneath is bottled at 47.7% and drinks the way the label looks: layered. Dried fruits and clove on the nose, treacle and cracked black pepper on the palate, a long cinnamon-and-cacao finish. A collector's bottle first, but one worth opening for a milestone worth remembering.
