DeLeón Diamante is an aged tequila that's filtered back to a clear, diamond-bright pour after time in oak — the same idea behind the cristalino category, under DeLeón's own name. Made from 100% blue Weber agave, it keeps the vanilla, caramel, and light oak character the barrel gives it while losing the golden color, so it looks like a blanco but drinks with more depth. Expect a smooth, rounded palate with cooked agave underneath the oak notes and a clean, faintly sweet finish. It's built for sipping, though the clear pour also makes it a striking base for a clean cocktail. Serve it chilled, neat, in a copita.
