About this bottle
Glenfarclas 10 Year is a Speyside single malt Scotch from one of the last major independent, family-owned distilleries in Scotland — the Grant family (unrelated to Glenfiddich's Grants) has run Glenfarclas since 1865. It's matured in a mix of ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks, giving it more sherried depth at 10 years than many entry-level malts manage. Expect dried fruit, toffee, and a hint of smoke on the nose, a rich, full-bodied palate of malt and spice, and a warming finish. Bottled at 40% ABV without chill-filtration debates that plague other brands, it remains one of the best-value sherried Speysides on the shelf.
