Mezcal Vago Espadin - Aquilino 750 ml

Mezcal Vago Espadin Aquilino is a single-village mezcal made from 100% Espadin agave. It is produced in the village of Santiago Matatlan, Oaxaca, Mexico. The agave is cooked in an underground oven, milled with a horse-drawn tahona, and fermented in open-air wooden vats. The mezcal is then double-distilled in copper stills. It has a smoky aroma with notes of cooked agave, citrus, and herbs. On the palate, it is smooth and slightly sweet with a hint of spice. The finish is long and lingering with a hint of smoke.
