RY3 Whiskey 14 year Light Whiskey Cask strength 750ml

RY3 14 Year Light Whiskey is bottled at cask strength from American light whiskey, a category distilled to a higher proof than bourbon and matured in used or uncharred barrels. That is why the style gathers colour so slowly and why fourteen years is not unusual here. Age and undiluted strength together give a nose of vanilla bean, coconut and orchard fruit, a palate of butterscotch, banana and soft baking spice, and a warm, sweet finish carrying very little tannin. Add a few drops of water to open it up, or drink it neat and slow from a Glencairn and let it sit in the glass a while.
