We didn't come to spirits as collectors who got lucky. We came from inside the business — years at some of the largest producers on the production and operations side, and years on the retail and sales side after that. We know how a bottle actually gets from a still to a shelf, because we have worked most of the steps.
That matters more than it sounds. American spirits move through a three-tier system — producer to distributor to retailer — and it is genuinely difficult to navigate. Most of the frustration people feel hunting a bottle is that system working exactly as designed. We know it deeply, and we are connected inside it, which is how we find things other people cannot.
What we care about beyond the transaction is the data and the story behind the bottle — where it slept, what the barrel gave, why this release is different from last year's — and building better tools with it, for the brands we partner with and for the people buying.
