The nose is of orange blossoms and warm hay with just a tinge of peat. The taste is delightful with orange zest and marzipan with a little bitterness to offset the fruity sweetness. All in all, a very good Scotch for the price!
Highland Park 12 Year Viking Honour is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Highland Park distillery in Orkney, Scotland. It is aged for 12 years in a combination of American and European oak casks, and is bottled at 40% ABV. The whisky has a light, sweet aroma with notes of honey, heather, and citrus. On the palate, it is smooth and creamy with flavors of toffee, vanilla, and oak. The finish is long and lingering with a hint of smoke.
