This is a limited edition Johnnie Walker bottling for the Year of the Horse, with the pack designed by Hong Kong couturier Robert Wun. The whisky is Scotch blended in the house style, drawing malt and grain casks from across Scotland and marrying them for a rounded profile rather than a regional accent. The nose leads with dried fruit and vanilla, the palate brings toffee, orange peel and a light peppery spice, and the finish is long and gently smoky. Editions like this are produced once and not repeated, so the bottle tends to outlive the liquid. Pour it neat in a small glass, or over a single large cube.
