Qvevri Wine Georgia Koncho Rose 750ml

Koncho & Co Rosé is a dry Georgian pink wine, made from dark-skinned local grapes given only brief contact with their skins before pressing. Georgian rosé tends to read a little more tart and structured than the pale Provençal template, with pomegranate showing up where you would expect peach. The nose is wild strawberry, pomegranate and rose petal, the palate is red berry and citrus with a dry, faintly saline mid-palate, and the finish snaps off crisp with a cranberry tartness. Serve it properly chilled with grilled vegetables, fresh cheese or anything off a summer barbecue, and drink it young while the acidity is bright.
