Stonehouse Montana White Rum is an unaged rum from a small Montana distillery, bottled clear and bright rather than rested in wood. White rum made at this scale usually shows more of its base than the big industrial brands do, so there is real cane character left in the glass instead of a purely neutral pour. Expect a nose of sugarcane and light vanilla, a palate of soft molasses, coconut and green banana with a touch of pepper, and a short, clean finish. This is a mixing bottle: shake a daiquiri with fresh lime, or build a tall mojito and let the mint carry it.
