This is a limited release rye whiskey from the Rossville Union distillery. The whiskey is aged for 6 years and is a 100 proof bottling. It has a nose of caramel and toasty oak, with a hint of spice. On the palate notes of sweet, earthy rye come through, with notes of dried fruit, oak, and vanilla. The finish is smooth and slightly spice, with a hint of almond. For a rye whiskey, it is surprisingly mellow and easy drinking.
