About this bottle
This special edition of the Yamazaki 12 Year Single Malt was released to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Yamazaki Distillery. It is aged 12 years in a combination of American White Oak and Japanese Mizunara Oak casks, bottled at 43% ABV. Unlike the usual offering, this expression is not chill-filtered, leaving it more flavorsome. On the nose it offers melon, floral and pine wood, while the palate consists of yellow fruit, marshmallow, honey and spices. The finish is long and dry with lingering notes of toffee and oak.
How to drink Yamazaki 12 Year 100th Anniversary
Serve neat in a tulip glass — being non-chill filtered, it carries more texture than the standard release, so give it a few minutes to open before adding any water.
