The Bitter Truth Chocolate Bitters 200 ml

The Bitter Truth is the German bar-supply house that helped bring cocktail bitters back from near extinction in the mid-2000s, and its chocolate bitters are the one bartenders reach for when a drink needs depth rather than sweetness. These are bitters, not a liqueur: intensely concentrated, unsweetened, and used by the dash. Roasted cacao, dried spice and a bitter herbal edge on the nose; cocoa nib, cinnamon and orange peel over bitter roots on the palate; a dry finish that lingers on cacao. Two or three dashes will rebuild a manhattan, an old fashioned, or anything with dark rum or aged tequila in it.
