About this bottle
1800 Milenio is 1800 Tequila's Extra Añejo expression, made from 100% Weber blue agave and finished briefly in French oak Cognac barrels after its base aging, which pushes it past a standard añejo into deeper, more spirit-forward territory. Expect a rich amber color, a nose of cooked agave, oak and dried fruit, and a palate that leans closer to a fine brandy than a typical tequila — caramel, baking spice and a long, warming finish with very little burn. By TTB rule it's aged at least three years, a year longer than the añejo minimum, which is where that extra depth comes from. It's built for tequila drinkers ready to spend up for something closer to a sipping spirit than a mixer.
How to drink 1800 Milenio
Neat, in a small snifter, is the way to go — this isn't built for a margarita. Give it a few minutes to open up and treat it the way you'd treat an aged Cognac.

Questions about this bottle
What glass should I use for an extra añejo tequila?
A small snifter or tulip glass concentrates the oak and dried-fruit aromas better than a shot glass — this is meant to be sipped slowly, not shot.
Can Milenio Extra Añejo be used in cocktails?
It's really built for sipping, but if you want to mix it, keep it simple — an Oaxaca Old Fashioned lets the oak come through without burying it.
What makes an Extra Añejo different from an Añejo?
By TTB rule, Extra Añejo tequila must be aged at least three years in oak, a full year longer than the one-year minimum for Añejo, which is what gives it the deeper color and heavier oak character.
