About this bottle
Corazón Añejo is a 100% agave tequila from Corazón, aged over a year in oak barrels, produced at the same distillery as Herradura using traditional stone tahona crushing for at least part of production. Expect caramel, vanilla and oak spice over the cooked-agave base, with a smooth, rounded profile typical of añejo tequila. It's positioned as a well-regarded, traditionally produced tequila at a more accessible price point than some of its higher-end stablemates. A year or more resting in oak gives it enough structure to hold its own over ice without watering down as quickly as a blanco would.
