Don Q Gran Anejo is a golden rum from Destileria Serralles in Ponce, Puerto Rico, built by blending rums aged three to twelve years with solera-aged rum up to twenty years old. That solera blending brings a rounder, more layered profile than a standard aged rum - dried fruit and toffee up front, baking spice and toasted oak through the middle, and a warm, faintly nutty finish. At 80 proof it has enough weight to stand on its own without turning harsh. It's a good pick for rum drinkers who've outgrown mixers and want something they can sit with and actually taste.

How to drink Don Q Gran Anejo
