Lalo High Proof Blanco 2024 is a limited release from Tequila Lalo built around the brand's distilled-to-proof method: the spirit goes straight from the still into the bottle with no water added after distillation. It's made the way the rest of the Lalo lineup is: mature blue Weber agave cooked in brick steam ovens, fermented for three to four days with Champagne yeast, then run through two distillations. The result is a fuller-bodied blanco, with roasted agave and green, herbal notes on the nose, and a silky palate carrying earthy agave, olive brine, and white pepper through a long, salty finish. Built for drinkers who want blanco character at real strength.
How to drink Lalo High Proof Blanco
The extra strength means it holds its own in a Tommy's Margarita better than most blancos, since the agave and pepper notes don't wash out against lime. It's also a strong base for a Paloma if you want something lighter.
