About this bottle
Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame 2015 is the house's prestige cuvée, made entirely from eight Grands Crus and blended 90% Pinot Noir, 10% Chardonnay — a Pinot-dominant style unusual even among prestige Champagnes, most of which lean Chardonnay-forward. That composition gives it more structure and red-fruit weight than a typical blanc de blancs-leaning cuvée. Bottled at 12.5% ABV. This is Veuve Clicquot's statement release, built from a single vintage rather than the house's non-vintage standard. Serve it well chilled, in a proper tulip glass, on its own rather than as a mixer.
How to drink Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame 2015
Pull the cork an hour ahead if you can, and serve it at cellar temperature rather than fully chilled.
