Cutwater Vodka Transfusion is a canned version of the golf course standard, built on the distillery's own vodka with grape juice and ginger, sold in four 355ml cans. It is designed to travel, which is more or less the entire history of this drink. The nose is grape-forward and bright, with a ginger spice lift behind it. The palate is sweet and juicy, concord grape leading with ginger heat building through the middle and the vodka staying quiet. The finish is short, spicy and clean. Serve very cold over ice in a tall glass with a lime wedge.
