Woody Creek Distillers Minnesota Frost Mary's Select Gin 750ml

Minnesota Frost Mary's Select is a specially labelled release of the Mary's Select gin made by Woody Creek Distillers, the Colorado outfit in Basalt known for estate-grown potatoes and Roaring Fork Valley grain. This is a contemporary American gin rather than a stern London dry: juniper is present and accounted for, but it shares the glass with citrus and softer botanicals. The nose leads with pine and lemon peel over a floral lift; the palate is clean and faintly sweet with coriander, orange and a cool herbal edge; the finish is crisp and dry. Build a martini with a lemon twist, or let it carry a gin and tonic.
