Tau Cask Strength Ultra Aged Tequila With Wooden Box 750ml

This is Tau's long-aged cask strength tequila presented in a wooden box, which makes it the gifting format of the release. Aged tequila bottled without dilution to 40 percent is uncommon, and the extra strength is what lets years of barrel influence sit on the palate without turning flat and sweet. The nose is dark caramel, dried fruit and toasted oak with a hint of tobacco, the palate runs butterscotch, cocoa and baking spice over deep cooked agave, and the finish is very long and warming. Serve it neat in a copita at room temperature, with a drop of water to soften the heat, and keep the box for the shelf.
