Dictador Treasure is an aged gin from Dictador, a Colombian spirits house better known for its aged rum, applying the same barrel-aging philosophy to gin by resting it in casks that previously held their rum. That aging softens gin's usual sharp juniper edge and adds caramel and oak notes not found in a standard unaged gin. Expect juniper and botanicals on the nose alongside vanilla and light oak, a smooth, rounder palate than most gin, and a warm, slightly sweet finish.
