Glenmorangie The Quinta Ruban is a special 14 year old expression from the renowned whisky brand. Matured in a combination of American and English oak casks, the liquid is then transferred into port pipes, where it acquires greater depth and rich, spicy character. The final stage of maturation is in ruby port casks, giving the whisky its name of Quinta Ruban, which is Spanish for 'Ruby Port'.
The nose offers sweet and fruity aromas of apricot, sultanas and cherries, with a hint of toasted almonds. The palate is delicate yet full-bodied, offering peppery notes of spice and nutmeg, leading to a warming, intense finish. This whisky comes in a beautiful, stainless steel giraffe-shaped tin and makes a perfect gift for any whisky enthusiast.
