Elements of Islay Cask Edit is a limited-edition, cask-strength single malt whisky from Elements of Islay, an independent whisky bottler that sources and bottles single malts from Islay without naming the source distillery. Distilled and bottled on Islay, Scotland, it's aged in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks and bottled at a robust 58.4% ABV. It has a peaty, smoky nose and a long finish, with an uncomplicated but enjoyable character carrying tropical fruit and subtle spice.
How to drink Elements of Islay Cask Edit
Add a few drops of water to bring the cask-strength ABV down and let the tropical fruit notes emerge alongside the peat. This is a whisky built for slow, deliberate tasting rather than a quick pour.
