Don Q Reserva De La Familia Exceptional 20 year

Only 1,865 decanters exist of Don Q Reserva de la Familia Serrallés, a 20-year Puerto Rican rum released to mark 150 years of the Serrallés family distillery in Ponce. Every drop spent at least two decades in charred American white oak, blended from 36 barrels pulled from the distillery's oldest warehouses. That age shows as butterscotch, toasted nuts and baking spice on the nose, then a velvety palate of oak, vanilla and dried fruit that lands closer to an old Cognac than to most rum. It is bottled at 80 proof, and the bottle count matches the founding year of 1865. Serve it neat, in good glassware, for occasions that have earned it.
