It is aged in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks for a minimum of 21 years before being bottled. The nose is sweet and malty, with notes of vanilla, honey, dried fruit, sherry, and a hint of smoke. On the palate, there are flavors of dried figs, plums, nutmeg, and a hint of toffee. The finish is pleasant and lingering with an oakiness and a hint of spice.
