Springbank malts its own barley on-site, distills two and a half times, and bottles without chill filtration or added color, a start-to-finish approach almost no other Scottish distillery still practices. Three decades of maturation layer dried fruit, old oak, and gentle coastal salinity over the house's lightly smoky character. Releases arrive in small yearly batches of a few thousand bottles at most, and they move quickly when they land. This is a special-occasion dram: pour it neat, add nothing, and take your time.
