Cask 10935/02 was set aside by whisky maker Stephen Bremner as the second selection in the 2020 Exceptional series, yielding 560 bottles from Speyside. A long life in sherry-seasoned European oak pushes it deep and dark: dried fig, orange peel, clove, and a resinous oak spine that stays sweet without turning heavy. Single cask means no two bottles of the series drink quite alike, and full strength means you decide when to add water. Pour it neat first, in a tulip glass, and give it ten minutes to open before you judge it.
