WhistlePig PiggyBank is a 10-year straight rye whiskey bottled at 110 proof in a wax-sealed ceramic pig decanter. The liquid is the same 100% rye that earned the distillery its benchmark reputation, carried here in a limited collector's release built around America's 250th birthday. Ten years in new American oak give it toasted cinnamon and baked vanilla on the nose, then black pepper, nutmeg, and a flash of lemon zest across the palate. The finish runs medium, closing on a light tannin that fades clean. The decanter photographs as well as it pours, so most owners display the pig first, then crack it for a slow neat pour when the moment earns it.
