Une Femme The Piquette Pinot Noir is a low-alcohol, lightly sparkling wine made by winemaker Amy Butler from Sonoma Mountain Pinot Noir fruit. Piquette is an old European farmhouse style built from the pomace left after pressing — grape skins, seeds, and stems are re-soaked in water, given a brief second fermentation, and bottled young, which keeps the alcohol low and the bubbles gentle compared to a normal sparkling wine. The result is pale ruby in the glass with fresh red-berry and cherry notes, a light fizz, and a dry, easy-drinking finish with none of the weight of a full Pinot Noir. It comes as a four-pack of 250 ml bottles, built for easy, low-commitment drinking, not for cellaring.
