About this bottle
Parker's Heritage Collection 18th Edition pours a 14-year Kentucky straight malt whiskey through French wood: 128 barrels of Heaven Hill's 65% malted barley, 35% corn mash bill, finished roughly four months in reconstructed heavy-toast Cognac casks chosen with Master Blender Alain Royer. The malt reads rich and velvety — molasses and bittersweet chocolate first, cloves and nutmeg behind, the Cognac oak adding dried fruit and a rounded, brandied edge. It is bottled non-chill filtered, and a portion of every bottle sold funds ALS research in Parker Beam's honor. The Collection is genuinely allocated and released once a year. Serve it after dinner where a Cognac would normally sit — this whiskey covers both jobs.
