About this bottle
Taylor Fladgate LBV (Late Bottled Vintage) is a Portuguese fortified wine made from a blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, and Tinta Barroca grapes. It is aged in oak barrels for four to six years before bottling. The wine has a deep ruby color and aromas of ripe black fruit, spices, and toasted oak. On the palate, it is full-bodied and smooth, with flavors of blackberry, plum, and spice. The finish is long and lingering.
How to drink Taylor Fladgate LBV
Serve it slightly below room temperature, around 60-65°F, in a small port glass. It's a natural match for blue cheese or a dark chocolate dessert, where the black fruit and spice have something rich to play against.
