Primera Clase Reposado is a tequila rested in oak, the middle step between the raw agave of a blanco and the wood-driven weight of an añejo. Time in barrel gives it colour and a rounder texture without erasing the agave underneath. The nose brings cooked agave with vanilla and light toasted oak, the palate follows with agave sweetness, caramel and soft baking spice, and the finish runs medium and warm with a peppery tail. This is the versatile bottle in the range: sip it neat at room temperature, pour it over a single large cube, or use it to give a margarita more backbone.
