About this bottle
Auchentoshan 21 Year is a single malt Scotch from Auchentoshan Distillery near Glasgow, one of the very few Scotch distilleries that triple-distills its whisky in the Irish style rather than the double distillation used by most of Scotland, giving it a lighter, smoother spirit even before aging. At 21 years the whisky carries substantial oak depth while retaining that inherent lightness. Expect dried fruit, honey and toasted almond on the nose, a smooth, rich palate with vanilla and oak, and a long, warm finish. A prestige-tier bottling from a distinctly styled Lowland distillery.
How to drink Auchentoshan 21 Year
Neat, in a proper glass, with time to breathe — at this age and price, a mixer would waste what two decades in cask built.
