About this bottle
Aultmore 18 Year is a single malt Scotch from Aultmore Distillery in Speyside, part of the Last Great Malts range under Bacardi's John Dewar & Sons, historically prized mainly as a blending component before being bottled more widely as a single malt. At 18 years the whisky carries more depth than the entry 12 Year while keeping Aultmore's characteristically light, grassy Speyside style. Expect green apple, honey and light oak on the nose, a smooth, delicate palate with citrus and vanilla, and a clean, moderately long finish. It's a lighter-styled Speyside malt rather than a heavily sherried one.
How to drink Aultmore 18 Year
Take it neat to let the delicate apple and honey notes show — this is a subtle malt that a splash of water can flatten if overdone.
