About this bottle
Benromach 10 Year is the core single malt Scotch from Benromach Distillery in Speyside, one of the region's smallest producers, revived by independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail in the 1990s and deliberately built to recreate an old-style, lightly peated Speyside profile that had largely disappeared from the region. Matured in a mix of first-fill bourbon and sherry casks. Expect light smoke, malt and dried fruit on the nose, a rich, balanced palate with sherry-driven spice and a peaty undercurrent, and a warm, moderately long finish. A distinctive throwback style within Speyside.
How to drink Benromach 10 Year
Neat or with a splash of water lets both the light peat and sherry sweetness show clearly.

Questions about this bottle
Why is Benromach unusual for Speyside?
It's deliberately made in an old-style, lightly peated profile that had largely disappeared from the region, distinguishing it from most modern unpeated Speyside malts.
