Glenmorangie Lasanta is a 12 year old single malt Scotch whisky from the Glenmorangie distillery in the Highlands, matured first in ex-bourbon casks and then finished for an additional period in Oloroso sherry casks. That second maturation is where the name comes from — Lasanta means 'warmth' in Gaelic — and it shows in a nose of raisins, dark chocolate, and orange peel. The palate brings cinnamon and dried fruit over Glenmorangie's usual light, floral base spirit, finishing smooth with a lingering sherry sweetness.
