Laphroaig Triple Wood is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky matured in three cask types: ex-bourbon barrels, quarter casks, and oloroso sherry butts, bottled at 48% ABV. That extra cask stage layers sherry sweetness onto Laphroaig's signature heavy peat and maritime smoke. The nose is smoky with iodine and a touch of sherry fruit, the palate brings peat smoke, dried fruit, and a briny edge, and the finish is long, smoky, and slightly sweet. It's built for drinkers who already like Laphroaig's intensity but want more depth.
