Ransom The Emerald 1865 is an American single malt whiskey from Ransom Spirits in Oregon's Willamette Valley, built to revive a pre-Prohibition style of American whiskey that predates the bourbon-dominated market most drinkers know today. It's distilled from malted barley in copper pot stills and aged in a mix of new and used oak, giving a maltier, more delicate profile than a typical bourbon or rye.
