The Big Smoke is a peated blended malt Scotch whisky from Wemyss Malts, an independent Scottish blending house built around marrying malts from different distilleries rather than distilling its own spirit. As a blended malt it contains only single malt whiskies with no grain whisky added, sourced here for peat character rather than a single distillery's house style. Expect bonfire smoke and iodine up front, a peat-forward palate with some sweetness underneath, and a smoky, lingering finish.
