About this bottle
Wolfburn Aurora is a single malt from Wolfburn distillery in Thurso, near Scotland's northernmost tip, one of the smallest and most northerly distilleries in the Highlands. Aurora is matured in a mix of ex-bourbon and sherry casks without an age statement, aiming for a balance of light bourbon-cask sweetness and darker sherry fruit. Expect vanilla and dried fruit on the nose, a palate of honey, spice and light oak, and a smooth, medium finish. Wolfburn's small-batch, hand-crafted approach gives it a distinct character from the larger Highland producers.
How to drink Wolfburn Aurora
Neat or with a splash of water lets the bourbon-and-sherry cask balance show; a single ice cube is fine if you prefer it cooler.
