About this bottle
Los Azulejos Trophy Head Añejo (Pink Edition) is an añejo tequila from Hacienda Los Azulejos in Jalisco, presented in a hand-painted ceramic bison-skull decanter — each one an individual piece of folk art as much as a bottle. Made from 100% Blue Weber agave and rested in oak long enough to move past the sharp, raw agave character of a blanco into a rounder, more dessert-leaning profile: expect caramel, vanilla, and baked agave over a base of toasted oak, closer in weight to a young brandy than a typical añejo. This is a display piece as much as a sipper, built for someone who wants the decanter on the shelf as much as the tequila in the glass. Pour it neat in a snifter.
How to drink Los Azulejos Trophy Head Añejo
Neat, in a snifter, is the move — the oak and caramel need room to open. Skip the salt and lime here; this is built for slow after-dinner sipping, not a shot. Let it sit a few minutes before the first taste.

Questions about this bottle
What is the ceramic decanter made from?
A hand-painted ceramic bison-skull bottle made by Mexican artisans, individually decorated so no two are exactly alike.
How does an añejo tequila like this differ from a blanco?
Añejo tequila rests in oak for at least a year, which softens the raw agave bite of a blanco into rounder caramel, vanilla, and baked-agave character.
