Patrón El Alto is a 100% blue agave tequila from Patrón's Hacienda in Jalisco, blending agave from the highlands ("el alto") with lowland agave for a profile the brand positions between its standard Reposado and its more highland-forward expressions. It rests in oak for several months in keeping with the reposado category, layered over Patrón's signature small-batch, hand-selected agave process. Expect a smooth tequila with citrus and roasted agave up front, oak and vanilla from the barrel rest, and a light pepper note on the finish. It's built as an easy-sipping, food-friendly tequila from one of the category's best-known names.
How to drink Patrón El Alto
