PuercoLeon Espadin Joven is a small-batch mezcal made from 100% Espadin agave, produced using the traditional Oaxacan method of pit-roasting, tahona or hand crushing, wild fermentation, and pot distillation. As the most widely cultivated mezcal agave, Espadin gives PuercoLeon a reliable, approachable base to work from, bottled joven (unaged) to let the roasted agave and smoke lead without any oak influence. Expect a balanced, smoky profile with roasted agave sweetness and mineral undertones typical of the category.
