About this bottle
Roseisle 14 Year is a single malt Scotch whisky from Diageo's Roseisle distillery in Speyside, part of the 2025 Special Releases collection and bottled at 55.9% ABV from refill and rejuvenated casks. Most of what Roseisle produces goes into Johnnie Walker blends, so a single malt release under its own name is genuinely rare. Fourteen years in cask brings rich oak, earth, and tea leaf to the nose alongside caramel toffee, red apple, and warming clove and cinnamon spice. The palate is medium-bodied with earthy oak, candied orange peel, and apple dessert notes running into black pepper and woody spice, finishing with lingering mint, citrus, and pepper. It's a pour for Scotch drinkers curious about a Speyside distillery rarely seen outside blends.
How to drink Roseisle 14 Year
Add a few drops of water before tasting — at nearly 56% ABV, a little dilution opens the tea leaf and candied orange notes that get muted by the alcohol otherwise. Neat is fine if you prefer the fuller cask strength experience, but this isn't one to drink on ice given how rare a bottling it is.
