About this bottle
Siete Misterios Espadin Tepeztate Ensamble 2021 is a blended (ensamble) mezcal combining five agave varieties: 60% Espadin from Zacatepec, Morelos; 20% Tepeztate from Miahuatlan, Oaxaca; 10% Tobala from Las Margaritas, Puebla; 7% Espadin from Oaxaca; and 3% Cupreata from Suchixtlahuaca, Guerrero. Each agave is fermented naturally and distilled artisanally in copper stills before resting nine months in French and American oak. The result is a smooth mezcal with notes of cacao, gentle bitterness, and a touch of passionfruit, showing the layered complexity that comes from blending multiple agave varieties and regions in one bottle.
How to drink Siete Misterios Espadin Tepeztate Ensamble
Sip neat in a copita to follow the agave blend through each sip — this is a mezcal built for slow tasting, not a mixing glass.

Questions about this bottle
What's the best way to serve this mezcal?
Serve neat in a small tumbler or copita at room temperature — an ensamble like this, blending two agave varieties, is worth tasting slowly rather than mixing.
What's an "ensamble" mezcal?
It means the mezcal is made from more than one agave variety — here, Espadin and Tepeztate — blended together rather than the single-agave approach used for most mezcal.
Where does this mezcal come from?
It's produced across several Oaxacan-growing regions — Morelos, Oaxaca, Puebla and Guerrero, Mexico.
