About this bottle
Tequila Ocho bottles each release from a single field, naming the rancho and the year on the label the way a winemaker names a vineyard — here it is Capulín, harvested for the 2025 añejo. The point of the exercise is that highland agave from one plot tastes different from the next, and barrel time frames that rather than erasing it. Cooked agave, dried herbs and vanilla on the nose; roasted agave, caramel and gentle oak spice on the palate; a long, earthy finish with a sweet oak tail. Pour it neat in a copita and taste it beside another Ocho vintage to see the difference.
How to drink Tequila Ocho Single Estate Añejo Capulín 2025
Sip it neat in a snifter, no salt or lime — the oak and agave depth are the point.
