About this bottle
The Producer Mezcal Artesanal Ensamble blends multiple agave varieties, made by Maestro Mezcalero Juan Pacheco Santos in Ejutla, Oaxaca, using the same traditional production as the brand's single-agave Espadin: 60-hour pit roasting, tahona stone-wheel crushing, wild fermentation, and double distillation in copper. Ensamble bottlings blend two or more agave species in one mash, layering flavor and aromatic complexity that a single-varietal mezcal can't reach on its own — expect more textural range than the brand's straight Espadin, with the pit-roasting's smoke and mineral character still front and center.
How to drink The Producer Ensamble
Sip it neat in a small clay copita to let the blended agave varieties show their layers — an ensamble is worth tasting slowly, since the whole point is comparing it against the brand's single-agave releases.
