The additional barrel time and light coloring add a bit more roundness on top of Jamaican rum's signature high-ester funk. Expect tropical fruit, banana, and molasses on the nose, a bold, funky palate, and a warm, lingering finish. It suits rum drinkers who want Jamaican intensity with a touch more barrel sweetness than the Blonde.
